The answer is pretty obvious to most of us… But where do we start?
There’s something very satisfying about spring cleaning and eliminating clutter.
A clean living space invites you to relax, breathe and enjoy. This sense of freedom and pleasure is the best motivator for taking the necessary steps to achieve it. Your inner world can also be de-cluttered and cleared… with even less effort than cleaning your home. Actually, the less effort the better the result!
Until you make the time to “get” quiet and listen, you won’t be able to hear what your mind-body is trying to tell you. If you’re having a difficult time finding your inner Zen garden, don’t lose hope. There are ways that you can be guided along the path.
B aware of what your mind is saying to your body. The goal is to quiet things down and eliminate anxiety, which is often created when we fear the unknown, things we cannot control. It’s like being stuck in a frightening daydream but the conscious mind believes it’s real.
The imaginal state mind is both the problem here and the cure. It can drive us crazy when we’re stuck in fear, but can also free and lift us to sacred places filled with hope, beauty and insight.
Through hypnosis and mindfulness, you can become a conscious dreamer and, with practice, you can become a masterful dreamer. My approach with hypnosis is to use it as a doorway to access your own ability to find inner peace and the confidence to maintain it. Mindfulness is based in accepting things as they are without judgment. In this practice, you can find peace even in the midst of chaos. You become the calm in the storm.
