Amanda Rosado, MMT, MT-BC

Amanda is a board-certified music therapist with a passion and focus in serving the mental health community. Amanda received her Bachelor’s Degree at Shenandoah University in 2009, and her Master’s Degree of Music Therapy in 2018. Amanda has been practicing for almost ten years, providing trauma-informed, person-centered music therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with psychiatric needs. Amanda has had opportunities to work with these individuals in inpatient, residential, and outpatient care. She has also conducted research examining experiences of music therapy for adolescents in inpatient care, which has been peer-reviewed and published in Music Therapy Perspectives. Amanda is passionate about advocating for music therapy in mental health care, with experience in providing in-services for the community and being featured in CBS local news about her work in the Baltimore area.
