Stevie Fruehling, ERYT, CAC-AD
Stevie is a Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT) and Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) with over 1000 hours of training to include a 500-Hour certification with yoga master, Sri Dharma Mittra. In addition to classical hatha yoga, Stevie specializes in Yoga Nidra, and has received advanced certification in the Integrated Amrit Method under the personal direction of Kamini Desai, Ph.D. She is also a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC-AD), licensed by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors. Stevie holds undergraduate degrees in Health, Fitness, and Exercise Studies, Human Services, Addiction Counseling, and Psychology, summa cum laude, and is beginning a master’s program in Social Work at Salisbury University.
Stevie’s cultural sensitivity has enabled her to gain valuable clinical experience working with diverse populations within inpatient, residential, outpatient, and correctional facilities. Specializing in work with adolescents, young adults, and adults, Stevie draws from her unique background to apply evidence-based, integrative, and contemplative healing modalities. She intuitively weaves supportive techniques to meet the needs of clients facing issues such as addiction, grief, trauma, chronic pain, abuse, and mental health stability.
Stevie’s warm and kind engagement of clients stems from her love of helping others find authentic joy and meaning in their lives. Stevie connects from a place of genuine compassion because she believes that all lives matter. She creates a safe environment where clients can find non-judgment, ease, and contentment as they explore mindfulness-based practices. Stevie’s sessions are individually designed to parallel and enhance recovery and wellness treatment plans. This client-centered focus allows Stevie to deeply connect with her clients to help them feel uplifted and facilitate their wellness journeys.

Stevie is a certified American Council on Exercise personal trainer, health educator for Anne Arundel Community College, part-time fitness contractor for the U.S. Navy, and teaches group fitness courses such as ‘HIIT’, ‘Full Body Sculpt’, and ‘TRX’. She is also certified as an American Red Cross Lifeguard, teaching ‘Aqua Fit’ courses during the summer.
